By booking DJ Yianni (“DJ,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), the client (“you”) agrees to the following terms and conditions:
Music Requests
All specific song requests must be submitted at least ten (10) days prior to the event. Requests should be provided in Word document format and include both song title and artist. While every effort will be made to honor requests, availability and appropriateness are not guaranteed.
Booking & Deposits
A signed contract and deposit are required to secure your event date.

Deposits are due within ten (10) days of receiving the contract.

All deposits are non-refundable, including cancellations by the client.
Payment Terms

The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the event.

Final payment must be made in cash.

Personal checks will not be accepted on the day of the event.
Overtime
If additional time is requested beyond the contracted event duration, overtime will be charged at a rate of $300 per additional hour, payable at the time of request.
Returned / Bounced Checks
A $39 fee will be applied for any returned or bounced checks.
Cancellation Policy

If the client cancels the event for any reason, the deposit will be forfeited.

If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the event, the client may be responsible for the full remaining balance.

DJ Yianni reserves the right to cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. In such cases, all payments made (including deposit) will be refunded, and reasonable efforts will be made to assist in finding a replacement, though this is not guaranteed.
Weather & Outdoor Events
For outdoor events, the client is responsible for providing adequate protection from weather, including rain, excessive heat, wind, or direct sunlight.

DJ equipment must be protected at all times.

DJ Yianni reserves the right to pause or stop performance if weather conditions pose a risk to equipment or personal safety.

No refunds will be issued due to weather-related interruptions or cancellations once the DJ has arrived and setup has begun.
Equipment Failure
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, DJ Yianni will make every reasonable effort to repair or replace equipment promptly. If performance cannot continue due to circumstances beyond control, liability is limited to a prorated refund based on the portion of the event not performed.
Client Responsibilities
The client confirms that all information provided in the contract and booking forms is accurate and complete. The client is responsible for ensuring a safe and appropriate performance environment, including:

Providing at least one (1) properly grounded electrical outlet within reasonable proximity of the DJ booth setup location

Ensuring the outlet supplies consistent power suitable for professional audio equipment

Providing adequate setup space and reliable access to the event area

Complying with all venue rules and local regulations
DJ Yianni is not responsible for performance interruptions caused by inadequate, faulty, or unavailable power sources.
Agreement
By signing the contract and/or submitting payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions outlined above.
